It probably looks something like this: Muucp, P=/usr/bin/uux, F=FMUDuh, ...... Try removing the 'U' flag in the F= string of mailer flags. This should eliminate the problem you are having. The U flag tells 'sendmail' to put the Unix From line into the form: From address date remote from host and without the '!' it cannot find the first host name in the path.
