System: 386-33 BIOS: AMI Coherent: V3.1.0 Modem: Digital Scholar (not in Hayes Compatible mode) Symptom: I'm just tring to use kermit to dial out right now. The modem is attached to COM1. I use the following command to start kermit: $ kermit clb /dev/com1l 2400 The modem lights indicate proper operation (DTR etc) but I don not get any echoing back to my screen! I checked the modem parameters and echo is ebnabled .... The contents of my ttys for COM1 is 0lLCOM1l. I have tried just about every possible combination here! Any thoughts?
