These machines only supported a small number of different hard discs, 
model 25/26 - 5Mbyte with 306 tracks 2 heads.                       
model 35    - 10Mbyte with 306 tracks 4 heads.
 
DSKINIT will format to either of these, it should ask which you have. 
 Any drive with more than this in tracks or heads should work, but the 
extra will not be used, less tracks won't work.
 
Perhaps the Xebec has failed.  It's a SASI to ST506 convertor.  ICL 
wants to see a SASI drive, actual drive is ST506.
