Subject: Need help on DOS 2.1/DOS 3.3 technical differences.

I am working on a project where I need to write some files to a hard disk
while booted with DOS 2.1, and be able to read them while booted with DOS
3.3.  I am having trouble with each being able to recognize each others
directory entries.  I am booting both from floppy so I am not concerned
with the dos utility differences and the hard drive is formatted under
DOS 2.1.  Does anyone know the descrete differences between the two
directory formats?
