Message-ID: <1991Apr25.184700.8707@magnus.acs.ohio-state.edu> Date: 25 Apr 91 18:47:00 GMT Sender: news@magnus.acs.ohio-state.edu Organization: The Ohio State University Lines: 12 Originator: mtrotter@bottom.magnus.acs.ohio-state.edu Nntp-Posting-Host: bottom.magnus.acs.ohio-state.edu I am working on a project where I need to write some files to a hard disk while booted with DOS 2.1, and be able to read them while booted with DOS 3.3. I am having trouble with each being able to recognize each others directory entries. I am booting both from floppy so I am not concerned with the dos utility differences and the hard drive is formatted under DOS 2.1. Does anyone know the descrete differences between the two directory formats? |-------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Mark Trotter The Ohio State University Office Equipment Repair | | voice 614/292-1313 FAX 614/292/4452 2578 Kenny Road | | BITNET TROTTER.1@OSU.EDU APPLELINK U1048 Columbus, OH 43210 | |-------------------------------------------------------------------------|
