Its a hand held box about the size of a breakout box, that monitors a serial connection with an 8K buffer and an LCD display. It costs $595. It seems a little high in price to me, but would seem very convenient for trouble shooting. Has anyone tried it, or know of some competition for it? I know there are PC programs that can do this kind of monitoring, but I think the portability is a real issue here. Even a laptop is much less convenient. -- Ken Mandelberg | km@mathcs.emory.edu PREFERRED Emory University | {rutgers, gatech}!emory!km UUCP Dept of Math and CS | km@emory.bitnet NON-DOMAIN BITNET Atlanta, GA 30322 | Phone: Voice (404) 727-7963, FAX 727-5611
