It currently works on a Sun-4 but I see no problems with it working on a Sun-3. This mostly involved getting the GNU linker working with files that have byte-ordering differences. The system is based on gcc-1.39, binutils-1.9, and a recent gas. Only binutils required substantial changes. If anybody could use such a system, I'm interested in finding a couple of people who would like to beta-test it. Send me mail and I'll give more details (known problems, etc.). The gcc config files may be of interest to LynxOS 386 users who aren't cross-compiling, but would like to recompile gcc on their system. Cheers!greg [[greg@cheers.Bungi.COM]]
