This is probably asked quite often here, but I will take my chances. I am looking for comments on Real-Time, Multi-Tasking Operating Systems, and please no *SALES* pitches. Your honest Pro's and Con's will be sufficient. :^) The OS will be used in a custom MC68332 environment (not VME) using Sun as a development host (i.e. OS and application will end up in ROM). Size and speed (low overhead) are of importance. Development environment must support multi-tasking C along with a source and task level debugger. Would appreciate any comments on VxWorks, VRTX, as well as any others. If you can, please include your experiences and environments.
