Archie at quiche.cs.mcgill.ca [132.206.2.3 or 132.206.51.1] works just fine
for me, right now.

You telnet to it and log in as "archie" with no password.  You can also use
rlogin.

If it doesn't work for you, what exactly is going wrong?
