Sorry for the vagueness of the last post but here is a better | offer I hope: | |Once again, I have an Amiga 2000 with a 40MB GVP HD, 1MB Chip, 2MB |Fast. This is my fontlib directory, where the files PK%04d are my |newly-created fontlibraries using the program flib supplied with |PasTeX. | |Directory of Projects:TeX/fontlib |PK0091 pk0100 PK0109 PK0110 PK0120 PK0131 PK0300 PK0329 PK0360 PK0432 PK0518 | |This is a sample FLIB T PK0091 output, which someone requested in response |to the original post: | |cmbx10.91pk cmbx5.91pk cmbx7.91pk cmcsc10.91pk cmex10.91pk cmmi10.91pk |cmmi5.91pk cmmi7.91pk cmr10.91pk cmr5.91pk cmr7.91pk cmsl10.91pk cmss10.91pk |cmssbx10.91pk cmssi10.91pk cmsy10.91pk cmsy5.91pk cmsy7.91pk cmti10.91pk |cmtt10.91pk That's not correct !!! In the flib's should be only the font names. I.e. cmbx10 cmbx5 cmbx7 cmcsc10 ... So you must rename the pk-files bevore you put them into the flib archives. |The fontlibs are fine according to FLIB; I tested them, extracted |them, no problems. Someone (lost the posting, sorry) had also told me |to try changing the .cnf files. I mistakenly thought he was talking |about the .tfm files which I thought were the original problem. I |already tried altering the .cnf files to point to TeX:fontlib (where |TeX: is assigned to Projects:TeX as above). Here is |TeX:config/showdvi.fnt: | |flibenv TeX:fontlib |pkenv TeX:pk |flib_str PK%4d ^^^ %04d !! |pk_str %d/%s.%dpk These four lines are all the default entries. So you can delete they. |so flib_str is assigned correctly according to the docs (i.e. PK0518 for |518 pk fonts). It seems that showdvi can find the regular pk fonts: | |Directory of Projects:TeX/pk/83: | cmbx10.83pk | cmr10.83pk | cmtt10.83pk That's right. |Directory of Projects:TeX/pk/100: | a lot of pk files ;) Is the name of the pk-files i.e.: cmr10.100pk ? If you set the resolution of ShowDVI to 100dpi, the fonts in TeX:pk/100 should be found. If you unpack the PasTeX1.2a archives, and set the TeX: assign correct, there should be enough fonts, to preview the docs.
