You're right, VLT doesn't do that particular VT100 "feature" right. It seemed at the time more useful to allow people to use the keys for the symbols that are on the keycaps in numeric mode, and it didn't occur to me at the time that VT100's don't work that way. Unfortunately, there is no option to change this. Short of changing the system keymap (usa1) to send the VT100 sequences. Which might be okay actually... Or you could use the VLT WEDGE command to intercept all keystrokes and to handle those four yourself. In ARexx, this can be a little slow, but you might write a 30-line C program to do it. By the way: I won't have INTERNET access for the coming four weeks or so, so I won't be answering questions for a while. Don't consider it impoliteness...
