Message-ID: <811.281441b4@zodiac.rutgers.edu> Date: 23 Apr 91 14:16:19 GMT Organization: Rutgers University Computing Services Lines: 14 Q1:I'm about to add the AdIDE/40 hard drive controller and an IDE hard drive to my Amiga 1000. If I want to use an external power supply, eg., a generic 150w IBM type, do I have to connect the grounds of the two power supplies together? Should I connect any of the other power leads together? Also, can I avoid this altogether and just use the A1000 power supply comfortably (so it won't even sweat)? Hmmm.... Q1a: If I can use the A1000 power supply, is there room inside the 1000 for a 1" high 80MB Hard drive (would be nice). Q2: Is AdSpeed compatable with AdIDE? --Alex
