It can be very simple to convert a trackball to work on an amiga. No software drivers are needed, usually the hardware is modified so that the trackball's output emulates a mouse's output. There are (were?) several trackball hacks available by FTP on ab20.larc.nasa.gov. Some require adding a few chips, while others just need to have a new cable soldered in. _______________________________________________________________________ | |* * * * * *| | | |\ | * * * * * |And to think I wanted a small,| | __ |/ |* * * * * *| | | _ / || / | * * * * * |inconspicuous tag line... ####| | ( \ / || /| |* * * * * *| | | \ \ /| || _/_|_/ |JIM STRUGLIA-->C465353@UMCVMB.MISSOURI.EDU| | \ \ / | (| <) \_/ | | | / / |Ford#Amiga##BUY AMERICAN, DAMMIT##VanHalen| | (_/ | | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
