I'm just planning to buy a new HD for my A500, but lving in New Zealand, 
it's far cheaper for me to import one from the US. I am seriously considering 
getting a GVP controller, with a 52 meg Quantum drive, but I'd appreciate 
any comments, or answers to the following questions:
 
* Does the controller require a seperate supply for all drives, or only 
high power cunsumption drives? We have  a 240VAC supply over here, and 
obtaining a new supply is a little akward.
 
* Has anyoby had any problems with this setup, or anythings I should 
consider?
