I don't recall whether you can stick it to the Workbench screen itself. I played with the option, but it wants to stick over the left-hand side where I have WShell putting the current directory name... When in sticky mode the clock acts exactly as if it were part of the title stripe of the window you choose. It moves when you move the window.
