Thanks. > Sorry, I'm not answering your question, but I heard an info about DiskPerf that could interest people out there. It's been said that certain well-known HD-makers companies have written devices that were programmed to give very good results to DiskPerf (probably by analyzing the way it proceeds and trying to fool it).
