Okay, whos got the plans to do this? I have been thinking of doing this myself. My original idea was to use a small microcontroller plus EEPROM in line with the keyboard cable. The uC would perform all the translation of scan codes and use the EEPROM for programable function keys or to allow you to dynamicaly remap any of the keys. What do these other plans look like?
