Though I'd seldom used it in recent years, my wife had become quite dependent on it for her word-processing and label-making chores. I knew I'd someday replace it, but I still haven't made up my mind "with what", and don't wish to spend a lot at this time. In the short-term, I want to spend little and protect my software investment. So, since someone else always seems to beat me to the 'R' key on "for sale" ads, I thought I'd jump the gun and ask if there's anyone with a 1040ST, or 520ST upgraded to 1meg or more, who's thinking of selling? I don't need monitor or drives or s/w, just the CPU. If so, I'd be interested in talking price with you. I'm hoping to find something under $300, but if someone has a 2/4meg ST or STe they want to dump, by all means consider that a negotiable limit. Please send email to the address in my signature. Thanks (and apologies to everyone else for the bandwidth-wastage). -- "The goons are riding motorcycles, but WE'VE | (Steve) rehrauer@apollo.hp.com got a whole big metal car!
