Though I'm no atari guru, I cannot recall of any atari word processor which deals with printer based fonts with any grace. Right now, I am using WordPerfect to try and exploit the DJ's features, but WP is just not cut out for the task. The Atari WP is meant for older dot matrix printers. I can say one thing for sure: WP will not switch fonts well. One way to get around this problem is to use GDOS (or any other system that bypasses the fonts in the DJ) to dump the text to the printer in graphical form. A word processor like Wordflair or WordUp will do this. TeX will also do this (and there is a DJ driver for TeX too.)
