     Your friends questions can best be addressed by DEC Customer Support (
800-332-8000).
     The DECwrite foo.djl file is the journal file for the DECwrite session, the
foo.djb file is the
     journal backup file.  If you already have an existing foo.djl file, and we
we go to create a new
     foo.djl file, the current one is moved to foo.djb.
