  Jonas,

   I can't speak for your campus. I have heard of several deals where the
  University or College bought a "truckload" of DECstations and sold them
  with FIS (Factory Installed Software) through their College Store at very
  heavy discounts (don't I wish my school had thought of this...sigh).

   As for specific numbers, try suggesting such a plan to your local DEC rep.
  I don't know if these were regional set-ups (a target plan set up by a 
  specific sales district/region) or something that was set up through the
  Education Marketing group. 

   If memory serves me though, it was specific by educational institution.
