The older IT can handle 640K on the motherboard no problem. The uIT's have a strange daughter board you need to get over 512K. The easiest solution to this mess is a board like AST Rampage that can back fill the normal 640K (i.e. the memory from 512 to 640), and then go on from there with extended (or expanded if you like). -- Al Womelsdorf | usual disclaimer.......
