Keywords: 486 chip set fpu old bug eisa Message-ID: <221@lpds.sublink.org> Date: 24 Apr 91 12:22:08 GMT Organization: lpds Lines: 14 Phone: + 39 2 8464117 - 8435411 (work) 8267089 (home) Postal-Address: Via G. de Ruggiero 87, 20142 Milano - Italia I recently purchased a 486/33 Eisa based system (Hauppauge mother board). My problem is to test if it has the fpu bug and the Eisa chip set bug somone was talking about some weeks ago (sorry I expired the article and I don't remember the newgroups, article, author ...). The i486 is dated 1989 and I think is not so new for a system sold in 1991. The mainly used application (ColoRIX w/ ScanRIX) sometimes exits with an Overflow and the RIX reseller told me it is the first time it happens. Thanks in advance. -- Walter Pelissero ...!lpds!wally wally@lpds.sublink.org "Who's been sleeping in my brain ?" (Nick Fiend)
