I remember reading on the net about a card that can be used to hook up
to a VCR and one can backup data using the VCR. It sounds like a good
alternative to buying a tape subsystem because I have an old VCR sitting
around gethering dust. 

PC-Connection was mentioned. However, when I phoned, the person on the 
otherside of the line said that they do not carry the card anymore. 

Is the card still being made? 

Is there other sources where such card can be found? 

Does anyone has more info about the card?
