Lines: 8 The swap file only exists in enhanced mode and you needn't worry about partitions... Somewhere in \windows or \windows\system you'll find a program called 'swapfile.exe' (I think that's what it's called). Run this in real mode and you can use it to configure a permanent swapfile on that partition of yours. For this the program want's contiguous sectors on the disk. But if you created this partitionand formatted it you shouldn't have a problem. That should do it, Dan.
