A friend of mine has both Word and Nisus on his MacPlus. Except for tables, he generally prefers Nisus and finds it as fast or faster than Word for most things. He's a pretty fast typist, though not the fastest, and he doesn't have any serious problem with Nisus' speed, though it might be a little easier to get ahead of the program typing than with Word. Nisus is definitely slower at deleting (backspacing) and, on a MacPlus, the text cursor has a tendency to disappear during typing. Gary Davis
