We are organizing a few MAC labs now. We want to tie them into the world via an Ethernet backbone (locally and further). There are software/hardware routers (any opinions?). Regarding Hard routers - Shiva has Fastpath (a former Kinetics product?) and their own Ethergate. Anyone have a comparison table between them? What are the important differences? Any info will be welcome. Any better alternatives? Ariel. -- Ariel J.
