The couple of paragraphs in the Macintosh Repair and Upgrade Secrets
(name approximate) concerning failed logic boards refers to this chip (TWM)
as the primary possibility in the case of a "flup flupping" noise with
a good analog board (My Plus is currently a 512kE machine using a logic
board from a 512k with a bad analog board and my roms and double sided drive).

Any leads on this chip would be appreciated, as would any info concerning
cheap (and working) Plus motherboards.
