Message-ID: <91116.234317CXT105@psuvm.psu.edu> Date: 27 Apr 91 03:43:17 GMT Organization: Penn State University Lines: 18 Are there any tools available to *design* TrueType fonts yet? Not just convert existing PostScript Type 1 or Type 3 fonts, but actually start from scratch? I'm envisioning something like Fontographer, except for TrueType fonts rather than PostScript. Second question: where are the TrueType font specifications to be found? I mean the internal specification of just how the TrueType fonts are set up -- equivalent to Adobe's "Black Book," the "Type 1 Font Specification." Thanks in advance, and please reply by email. I'll summarize to the net if enough (more than a couple) people express interest in my findings. ------- Christopher Tate | "Living in a fisheye lens, caught | in the camera eye; I have no cxt105@psuvm.psu.edu | heart to lie: I can't pretend a {...}!psuvax1!psuvm.bitnet!cxt105 | stranger is a long-awaited friend." cxt105@psuvm.bitnet | -- Rush, "Limelight"
