Was it worth it?" Incase you don't want to do more FTPing than you do already :), here's what to do. Use ResEdit, and open up the file that has all the icons. Pick an icon you like your hard disk to be. Okay, now, let's say the name of your hard disk is "Banana Jr." . Now, select the icon you want your hard disk to be, and choose "Get Resource Info" form the "Resources" menu (this is under ResEdit 2.1, so it will be diferent if you're using 1.2 or such). NOw, for the Resource's "Name", type in the name of your disk (i.e. "Banana Jr."). Now, whenerver this volume is mounted, it will come up with that icon. This is very flexible, because, you can set MULTIPLE icons (so if you have a 2nd hard disk, or a SyQuest cartridge, or even floppies!) you can set what icon they appear as, by simply choosing an icon, pulling up the "Get Info" box, and typing in the name of the disk that will get that icon.
