The windows init installs a "Windows" menu in all apps that don't have it. It allows you to chose (from the menu items) which window is in front. Very handy. What D.T. is talking about is the altWDEF, which is a cdev/init that allows you to select the appearance of your windows. One of the choices is sort of like Next windows, and you can drag the windows around by their borders. Nice, except it has some compatibility problems with some apps. gort@cup.portal.com
