I was curious if this is a bug in 6.0.5 (it seems to be) and whether or not it's limited to 6.0.5. As of now I have had exactly 0 responses. Is this because a. Nobody's interested in 6.0.5 anymore? b. Nobody received my message? Is our pnews working? c. Nobody's surprised that it's possible to crash a Mac without using anything except the control panel? d. I'm impatient? e. All of the above? f. Other: ____________________ In summary, in case anybody's interested, if I choose a certain desktop pattern with the control panel, open the Monitors control panel, and select Undo from the Edit menu, my Mac crashes. I have a IIcx with Apple's RGB monitor and 8 bit video. This happens with NO INITs or non-Apple cdevs installed. It also happens on a Mac II. I'll send details by e-mail if you'd like, rather than reposting. Please respond by e-mail, and I'll summarize (if anybody's interested). Thanks, Steve langer@control.uchicago.edu
