I've never managed to do real work on it - then again, I bought it as a game machine, anyhow. If you're interested in real work, on the other hand, get a clue. Personally, I generate enough data to fill hard disks weekly, and it's a constant task to keep myself within the realm of free space. It's not a matter of the machine needing lots of space - it's just that most problems that you can solve with under 100k of hard disk space have already been solved, and simply are no longer interesting to real people. I don't mean to sound non-understanding, but think about it. Look at how much hard disk space and memory the machine you're posting from has, and then get back to us.
