The question is HOW MANY SECTIONS AND WHAT WILL THEY COVER?. Let me make a strong suggestion that we do not split the group into many sections. We do not have a high enough volume of postings to merit more than a few sections. Let's come to an agreement soon on which sections to break up into and take a vote on it. I'm not familiar with Usenet guidelines so someone who does should speak up and organize the split. My suggestion is two keep it simple and have only two groups. If we need more later on, we can always add sections. comp.sys.next - General questions, announcements, rumors, etc... comp.sys.next.developer (or comp.sys.next.programmer) - Programming questions, hardware/software, etc...
