Since I know little about networks, I hope someone out there might help. This is the direction I'm heading (hopefully it's the right one). I envision a 386 based machine for our office that would be used as file server, and tasks such as accounting, payroll, and word processing. In each Restaurant I planned a workstation that would access the offices 386, its main use would be for inventory control, inter-store communication, and word processing.
