I dug out the following phone numbers and products from MacWorld Expo in
Jan, just to answer the multitudes of questions I've received:

MacPort from Orchid Tehnology 45365 Northport Loop West, Fremont Ca. 94538
(sorry, no phone # on this flyer!)  This device adds two RS422 and one parallel
port to the SCSI bus (on a Mac).  May be capable of supporting AppleTalk, I
don't know.  Call them for details (call information for their phone #).

NuvoLinkSC by Nuvotech (415) 331-7815.  These guys make a SCSI<->ethernet
box.  $549.

Asante EN/SC by Asante Technologies (408) 734-4844.  Pretty much the same as
above.  An ethernet<->SCSI adapter. No price given.

Scuzzy-Graph by Aura Systems (619) 440-2304.  A color graphics adapter for the
SCSI bus based on the TMS32010 processor.  About $695 plus monitor.
