When someone changes their password using yppasswd the system acknowledges that the yellow pages are updated but in fact they are not. The passwd file in /etc has been updated on the server but the client machines do not have the updated information. rpc.yppasswdd is running as /usr/etc/rpc.yppasswdd /etc/passwd -m passwd Has anyone encountered this problem before and how does one resolve it? please reply to mary@patience.stanford.edu
