My Tandy 1200's floppy drive controller is in the motherboard, making an
upgrade to a high-density drive difficult. I'd like to replace the
360K drive with a HD 5.25" drive if possible. The Tandy office in Barrie, ON
suggested that some traces on the motherboard would have to
be cut ... I don't want to do this. Perhaps it is possible to install a
second floppy and just not tell the system that the first floppy is
disconnected?

Please e-mail advice (if any!) to the following address. If you're suggesting
equipment, would prefer a supplier on the west coast (Seattle would be OK).
