Keywords: lisp xerox archive users Message-ID: <15264@life.ai.mit.edu> Date: 25 Apr 91 01:53:21 GMT Article-I.D.: life.15264 Sender: news@ai.mit.edu Organization: Free Software Foundation Lines: 27 I have gotten several requests for a summary of what I found out about Dandelion archives (Xerox 1108/9). The LispUsers' archives are on nervous.cis.ohio-state.edu under /pub/lispusers/medley, and are pretty complete. I now have the entire archives on IBM format disks (4 1.44Mb disks), and the big thing to do now is transfer them (via 19.2K link) between my IBM and the Xerox using Kermit. Anyone know of any better ways to do this short of EtherNet? There are also some PCL and X3J13 archives on arisia.xerox.com, but they are pretty much duplicated on nervous. Hope this helps. Anyone know of a Emacs (or Zmacs) implementation for the Xerox machine? I really don't want to give it up, and it seems like it should be pretty simple to do considering how much of Emacs is in Elisp. I know that TI and Bolix (I don't want to say the forbidden word) both ship Zmacs, so I am wondering where it is for the Xerox.
