I installed dvips 5.47 to run on our Apollo's and got the executable for the PC. What I've noticed is that the spacing of all fonts is very thight. Most characters run into each other. The Italic 'f' is the most gruesome I've yet to see. (Real bad) This is probably in the spacing of the virtual font. But is also could be something in the cartridge which misses the point. My question(s): - Are more people having these type of problems? - How is the output on 'regular' Postscript printers, like a QMS 810 or an Laserwriter?
