I asked this question a while ago and no one could answer it. In this issue of PC magazine they address that HIMEM works with memory (actually steals the use of it) in a funny way. My question: Why won't Super PC-Kwik 3.58 properly coincide with Windows in Enhanced mode? I have been trying to run 4DOS from a window and it just says that there is no memory. Unfortunately Windows tells me that it has ~2 MB to work with! If I don't use the cache, it works fine. There are never ANY memory problems. Could someone please explain to me what is wrong? Should I use SMARTDRV? Does SMARTDRV speed up Windows or all operations? -Barry Smith PLEASE MAIL DIRECTLY TO ME.
