I'm running OS/2 1.3 on my 286 with a 1024i running in 16color1024x768 mode, and not having problems... I know that the 256 color driver does not work properly, but I don't think it worked properly with 1.2 either, even though it was advertised as doing so. I think you mentioned that you do some windows development. One interesting thing I noticed recently was that the Windows Resource compiler is bound, and can be run under OS/2. If only Windows and OS/2 used compatible resources..
