I'm trying to generate a mouse button event in the video device driver by using ioctl and QIOCKPCMD. But, I am having a little trouble getting the data for the command correct. I don't have a source license to UNIX so I can't look at the video driver code and the doc set we have here has very little information on how to get at the driver, so I am sort of stuck. I need this to attempt to replace the mouse with a digitizing table that has a puck with 4 buttons. I would like my XSever to get mouse button events from the digitizer instead of the mouse. I've done a similar kind of thing before using VAXEN running VMS and using a SYS$QIO call so it seems like it should be possible to do. I'm using a DecStation 2100, running ULTRIX 4.1 and DecWindows (3.2?). If anyone out there has any information for me on this subject, I would greatly appreciate the assistance. Thanks in advance.
