Could you tell me what brand of the sound alarm JNyou saw JNin the Shaper Image store ? Does your ShakeAwake have a black JNmodel ? JNJust checking... JN JNJanice Nardandrea The vibrating alarm clock model at Sharper Image is also a SHAKE AWAKE model (model SA2). I bought this model as a back-up to the one bought back in September. The Sharper Image clock has the same black case, etc, but has some minor differences: 1. it light ups on both sides of the display 2. has whiter, sharper lettering on the front 3. has all the features of the 'older' one (model MM1) PLUS a sound alarm feature The two switches on the front are labeled as follows: MM1 model SA2 model Switch 1 Switch 2 Switch 1 Switch 2 Lock Alarm on Snooze Vib. alarm (symbol) Alarm set Off Lock Off Time set Snooze Alarm set Sound alarm (symbol) Time set The SHARPER IMAGE model costs $29.95 plus tax. (May include $3.00 shipping where necessary). The sound alarm is nice but not always needed. The MM1 model bought direct from the company cost $24.95 plus $2.50 shipping. Hope this helps.
