Anybody had any similar experiences or ideas? I would definitely think that a brace is helpful. When I had my accident 24 years ago almost everyone that had a spinal injury ended up being fitted with a brace. Then it seemed to go to the other extreme and they didn't want to supply them. I have had very little problems with my back and I believe it's because I have always worn a brace. It seems like whenever a quadriplegic doesn't wear a brace they end up with severe scoliosis. Just ask Alan Hess about pain and scoliosis. Best of luck.
