This is rrn (patch 54).  Start rrn.  Read some articles.  Wait 2 hours.
Now there appears to be a problem, since the nntpd-process on the NNTP-
server has timed out, causing the rrn-process on the client to exit un-
gracefully: the terminal is left in unsane mode [noecho, cbreak, etc.].

Sample output:
