What:   "Great Western Shoot-Out"
       International Bowhunting Organization (IBO) is holding seminars and
       fun/competitive/team shoots featuring 60 life sized 3-D animal targets
       in natural settings at unmarked yardage.
       There are also manufacturers exhibits and a carp shoot.

       Sponsored by: HOYT, Easton, Peak to Peak, Western Archery,
		     High Plains Archers, The Arizona E-Z Fletch.

When:   June 1-2, 1991

Where:  Adams County Fairgrounds.

1:00PM  Larry D. Jones --- How to Find Elk

2:30PM  Ray Milligan   --- Scents How, Where, When, and Why to Use Them

4:00PM  Dave Holt      --- Balanced Bowhunting

5:30PM  Mike Eastman   --- Mule Deer Hunting

7:00PM  Larry D. Jones --- Elk Calling and Bugling Techniques


Carp Shoot: (June 2  6-10 AM) FREE @ Mann Lake Area

Shoot Rules

1)  draw weight <= 90#
2)  Field or bullet tip weighing >= 125 grains
3)  Sights, stabilizers, V-bars must not extend > 12" from front of bow.
4)  Overdraws are legal in all classes
5)  No limit to numbers of pins on sight
6)  NO Alcoholic beverages

Scoring:
    10 points for "kill"
     7 points for "wound"
     5 points for hit except for hoofs or horns

Divisions for shoots:
    Unlimited Male & Female
	A compound, recurve or long bow with a moveable sight or x-hair sight.
	Any type of release aid, glove, finger tab or bare fingers.
    Limited Male & Female
	A compound, recurve or long bow with fixed pins only.
	Glove, finger tab or bare fingers.
    Bare Bow Male & Female
	A compound, recurve or long bow without a sight of any type.
	Glove, finger tab or bare fingers.


Cost:  ( ALL entry fees are Non-Refundable) shoot rain or shine!
       ( Fees cover entrance, exhibits, seminars, carp shoot and
	 prizes for competitive shoots.)
