I am interested to hear from other people at other campuses to find out how these type of protests are elsewhere... We started a local chapter of CFAAR, a pro-research organization this year, and we have been quite effective (IMHO) so far in dealing with the protests and accompanying media. However, the local activists are planning a protest for friday, and they will probably go all out then (ie: break into labs, or harrass individual researchers; and get arrested). I'm not intending to start a flame about research animals; this is NOT the place for that.. I simply want to find out how other biological/biomedical researchers/organizations/departments are dealing with these actions. -Tom Maynard 6600spam@ucsbuxa.ucsb.edu Coalition For Animals & Animal Resarch (CFAAR/UCSB) Undergraduate Biology (biochemistry) student
