The USAF announced today, 1330hrs EST (23APR91), that the
Lockheed - Boeing - General Dynamics F-22 has won the Advanced Tactical Fighter
contract for the USAF.  The USAF also said Pratt & Whitney won the engine
contract.

Northrop and McDonnell Douglas have lost hard, but they are getting some new 
life with the F/A-18E/F for the NAVY!

The Lightning II strikes a big prise.  This fighter is the plane.
