We have just gotten a feed to this group here at Iowa State.  I am here
on a temporary appointment, am doing a Ph.D. dissertation in 14th
Century Tuscan History of Science (with the Union Graduate School in
Ohio), and have not been able to find anyone here doing similar work.

I need to become fluent in Italian.  I can read some, but not write or
speak the language.  I would also like to find people who know the area
around Florence, Pisa, Siena, and Arezzo.
