Some friends and I are looking for information about archivers.

The ones we have are :: Zoo, Lharc, Vmsarc, Lzcomp among others.

The information that I am looking for is
   1)   Which sites are actively keeping updates?  (looking for "The ones in
        charge" if possible)
   2)   Which site (s) are producing updates? (same parenthesis as above)
